Of course many of us like to take pictures to help us remember and replay great memories later, but we may actually be missing the moment and the chance to really experience all that life has to offer. Author Meredith Fineman admits that it’s easy to become addicted to taking pictures of what you are doing and to constantly seek social media approval from others. We also spend time browsing through other people’s pictures, causing us to miss out on the present even more. “Maybe try sharing beauty with a person. Or yourself. The best filters are your eyes, so stop looking down and see the world,” Fineman recommends.
