Annabelle Earl is only 4 years old, and she has already turned a dream into reality.  Ever since her babysitter’s daughter told her how much fun it is to be a flower girl at a wedding, she had her heart set on being one too.  She confided her wish to her mom.  But the only problem was that there were no relatives or friends of her family getting married anytime soon.  Then her mom had an idea.  Why not go to the City Clerk’s office in New York City, where people get married all the time, and see if anyone would welcome the addition of a flower girl.  Annabelle even created a handwritten sign for the occasion saying “Can I be your flower girl?”

So dressed one day in a long flowery dress and carrying a just bought bouquet of flowers, Annabelle found the perfect place to hold up her sign and ask arriving couples her big question.  One bride agreed saying:  “She was too adorable to say no to, and we thought it would be fun to make her day as well as ours.”

It certainly looks like Annabelle will ever-after happily remember this couple’s wedding day.  She told NBC News that “giving flowers to the bride” was what she liked best and she’s looking forward to a return visit to City Hall.  Good for You, Annabelle!
