What started as an effort to have people buy one American-made gift for Christmas has resulted in more than $550,000 of pledges to buy American products for the holidays. Earlier this season we wrote about the Made in America premise: if each of us spent just $64 on U.S.-made goods during our holiday shopping, the result would be 200,000 new jobs. The response has been tremendous, with schools across the country joining in and implementing Made in America into their teaching.
