As America struggles with an obesity problem that is affecting millions of children and adults, one group is making a positive difference in educating people to eat healthier. FoodCorps, and organization sponsored by AmeriCorps, is aiming to help poor communities and schools by teaching them healthy eating habits. Besides education in schools, FoodCorps plants trees and plants in local communities and encourages others to get involved. By 2020 the group hopes to have 1,000 members in all 50 states.
