At any given time, about 53 percent of all Americans are trying to slim down. Yet, whether its for health reasons, to decrease the onset of some weight-drive disease, or issues of self-worth, many still struggle to lose weight and keep it off. A new trend is emerging, one that combats the sustainability of yo-yo and fad diets, that emphasizes health at any size. Though it does not focus on fitting into a pair of skinny jeans, the Health at Any Size program is centered around the ideology that healthy habits such as exercise can improve your life even if they don’t result in weight loss.
