A 12-year-old from Newtown, CT decided to stop playing violent video games after the tragedy in his town. Now he's trying to get other young people to follow his example by throwing away their violent video games at a dump site. The boy's parents helped him to set up a Facebook group called "Played Out" to further his cause. The boy, seventh-grader Max Goldstein, says, "All of it is kill, just kill as many people as you can without dying." California-based psychiatrist Carole Lieberman, a vocal opponent of violent video games, is on board with the boy’s idea. “Instead of banning guns, we need to ban violent video games,” says Dr. Lieberman, who has testified in Congress against violence in pop culture.
