Ever since a customer left $100 extra when paying her bill at a small, locally owned coffee shop in South Carolina in order to pay for everyone who ordered after her until the money ran out, more and more customers have been similarly leaving money to pay for others' food and drink at the coffee shop, even if they aren't buying anything for themselves, hoping to making a small but significant difference in the lives of families struggling financially in these difficult times.
