From NY Post: “Twenty-five years after the 9/11 attacks, there is another terrifying new reality, too: At least 9,425 are now dying from post-9/11-related illnesses, more than triple the 2,977 lives lost Sept. 11, 2001.”
As Michael Barash, an attorney for a firm representing World Trade Center Health Program enrollees, noted:
“9/11 did not end on 9/11. The cancer clock is ticking 24/7.”
