Her graduation gift from dad: A 13-year labor of love

Parents everywhere have been touched and inspired by the thoughtful parenting of Bryan Martin, a father who gave his daughter, Brenna, a long-concealed surprise for her high school graduation. His gift was a Dr. Seuss book, Oh, the Places You'll Go!, signed with personal messages from teachers and coaches going back to when Brenna was 5 years old. Bryan explained to his daughter, "Every year, for the past 13 years, since the day you started kindergarten, I've gotten every teacher, coach, and principal to write a little something about you inside this book.’’ Upon hearing this heartwarming story, other parents of young children are now starting similar projects of their own.
